Schools, team building, friends or stag/hen do etc – minimum group size of 8. Whatever your group we can get them up the wall, wet days, dark evenings or even as a regular trip.
Our group instructed sessions are ideal for scout groups, schools, youth groups, families, stag/hen parties. 1.5 hrs of instructed climbing including all equipment and instruction. Our instructors will get you climbing as well as introducing you to the essential ropework required to be on your way as a climber.
Booking essential and can be organised at anytime (excluding Saturday and Sunday mornings) including evenings.

Here at Dart Rock we welcome self instructed groups from Schools, centre's, scouts, private instruction. Just provide us with your qualifications, insurance and first aid, once registered you can bring groups to both Dart Rock and Marjons walls.
No more wet days on the Moor!! Or why not combine a climbing session with your canoeing or caving trips? Self instructed groups are more than welcome to the centre
Entry is £5.00 / per person
All we need are your insurance details, qualifications and first aid certificate. Once you have filled in our self instructed group form you are free to instruct your group at our wall including use of our caving system (after a short induction)
Equipment is also available to hire with prior booking.
Little Lizards (5-12 yr olds)- Saturday mornings Chameleons (12-17 yr olds)- Sunday mornings Just drop in for one of the weekend sessions Or for the little ones Gecko’s under 5’s climbing club every Friday 1-2 pm (booking essential)
Our weekly Saturday morning sessions are a unique drop in climbing instructed session for 5-12yr olds. Learn climbing skills, learn to belay and tie in and sign up for the NICAS award and get certificates as you progress. Only £10pp and includes all safety equipment (shoes optional £3.00 extra)
For older children our Sunday morning Chameleon sessions are a chilled and friendly way to spend a Sunday morning, just drop in and get climbing. NICAS is also available during this session. £10.00pp includes all safety equipment (shoes optional £3.00 extra)
There is no need to sign up for a series of sessions or to come regularly, sessions run throughout the year.
Booking essential, Friday afternoons from 1-2pm are for the little ones, under 5's can climb with our experienced instructors. Youg children will be introduced to the climbing areas using games and fun climbing exercises to get even the littlest ones scaling the walls. £10.00 and booking is essential as these sessions only run if we have enough participants.

Why not get climbing after school? Booking is essential for our 1 hour instructed sessions. Intended for children from 5-17yrs these small group courses are perfect to get climbing, improve, meet friends and get on your way to becoming an independant climber. No need to book for a whole term or period of time, all we ask is that any sessions booked are paid for during booking. Only £7.00 per person including all safety equipment (shoes optional £3.00 extra). Why not sign up for the NICAS scheme and get certificates as you progress?
Thoughout school holidays we always run extra kids clubs, usually indoor and outdoor sessions are available starting from £20pp. Check our blog or facebook page for regular information
