Roadworks and winter darkness!

Hello folks - just to let you know that during the dark days of Winter, Wales & West Utilities have seen their way to dessimate the infrastructure of Buckfastleigh!  You may have already noticed the Old Totnes Road has signs for a diversion (from both ends of the road!) But rest assured, we are open as usual.  If you are coming from the A38 (Exeter or Plymouth way) it is best to follow the diversion onto Totnes Road, passing the Dart Bridge Inn, and making the right turn across the narrow bridge over the River Dart.  The signs are pretty clear from both directions.  If you are coming from the bay or Totnes direction, the signs are less obvious, but still direct you over the bridge.  It appears the road works are only during business hours, so if you do arrive after 6:00 you may still find the road open on both ends.  Give us a ring if you have any problems or complaints - we are happy to pass them on to Wales and West!  Happy climbing and drive safely!
